Marlyce Bowdish founded New Spring Recovery Services because of her passion for helping families coping with addiction.

She saw in her own life how alcohol and substance use disorders damaged her family and how families can recover from the damage. Marlyce experienced the pain her alcoholism caused her family and experienced the power of her family actively supporting her recovery. Then, as a family member, experienced the pain and feelings of helplessness as her loved one’s struggled with and recovered from addiction.

As a professional in the addiction industry, Marlyce has used her training and experience to help thousands of patients and family members navigate early sobriety. She has been trained in addiction counseling, multiple intervention modalities, and case management. Marlyce has also developed an acclaimed family education program and an adaptive intervention modality.
